106.1 MDX was a rhythmic contemporary radio station based in Miami, Florida, operating under the call sign WZTA. It launched in December 1999, replacing the classic rock station ZETA 94.9. The station featured a mix of hip-hop, R&B, and dance music, catering to the diverse Miami audience. In 2002, the format changed, and the station rebranded, eventually becoming a Spanish-language station under a different format. It was owned by iHeartMedia (formerly Clear Channel Communications).
