94QFM was the branding for WQXI-FM, an Atlanta-based radio station that primarily aired a Top 40/CHR (Contemporary Hit Radio) format during the 1970s and 1980s. The station, owned by Broadcast Properties, Inc., was a sister station to WQXI-AM, which had a similar pop music format. Known for its high-energy presentation and popular on-air personalities, 94Q became a significant player in the Atlanta radio market during its peak. In the late 1980s, the station shifted formats and eventually rebranded as Star 94 (WSTR-FM), focusing on adult contemporary music.
