Radio Iason Playlist
Radio Iason was a pirate radio station that operated in Greece during the 1980s. It gained popularity for its broadcasts of foreign rock music, which were not widely available on state-controlled Greek radio at the time. The station was named after its founder, Iason (Jason) Tassopoulos, who became a well-known figure in the underground radio scene. Despite its illegal status, Radio Iason had a loyal audience and influenced the emergence of independent broadcasting in Greece. It ceased operations after the Greek government's crackdown on pirate radio stations in the late 1980s.
