Digital Playlist
Digital was a British radio station launched in 1995 by the UKRD Group. It was one of the first radio stations in the UK to broadcast exclusively on digital platforms, including DAB and satellite. The station primarily focused on offering a mix of contemporary music and entertainment programming. Despite being innovative for its time, it struggled to gain widespread traction and was eventually discontinued in 1999. Its closure highlighted the challenges of early adoption of digital radio in the UK.
