The Wave was een Duits radiostation dat zich voornamelijk richtte op alternatieve en gothic rockmuziek. Het maakte deel uit van de programmering van Deutsche Welle en richtte zich op een internationaal publiek met Engelstalige inhoud. Het station kreeg een trouwe schare aanhangers voor zijn zorgvuldig samengestelde selectie van darkwave, elektronische en industriële nummers. The Wave stopte echter in 2010 als onderdeel van de herstructurering van Deutsche Welle. De sluiting betekende het einde van een uniek platform voor niche muziekgenres in Duitsland.
