The Jazz Knob was a pioneering jazz radio station in the United States, based in Long Beach, California. It operated during the 1950s and was officially known as KNOB, branded as "The Jazz Knob." It was one of the first stations in the country to dedicate its programming exclusively to jazz music. The station was founded by Chuck Niles, a prominent jazz broadcaster who later became known as "Mr. Jazz." The Jazz Knob played a key role in promoting jazz on the West Coast during its operation.
