Indie617 was an independent, alternative/indie rock-focused online radio station based in Boston, Massachusetts. It launched in 2018 as a rebranding of the former terrestrial station WFNX, which transitioned to an internet-based platform after shutting down its FM signal in 2012. The station was known for showcasing emerging and established indie artists and served as a hub for Boston's alternative music scene. Indie617 operated under the ownership of Boston.com before merging with the streaming platform WXRV/92.5 The River's online presence in 2021.
