WQED-FM is a public radio station based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, operating at 89.3 FM. It is part of WQED Multimedia, which also includes the WQED-TV public television station. The station primarily broadcasts classical music and is known as one of the few remaining classical music stations in the United States. WQED-FM also features programs highlighting local arts and cultural events. It was the first radio station in the country to be owned by a community-sponsored television station.
