Radio Schweden (Radio Sweden) was the German-language international service of Sveriges Radio, Sweden's national public broadcaster. It aired news, cultural programs, and features about Swedish life, politics, and society, targeting German-speaking audiences in Europe. The service, like other international broadcasting arms, was available on shortwave and later online. Due to budget cuts, the German-language service was discontinued in 2010. It was part of Sweden's broader effort to maintain international outreach through multilingual programming.
