Radio Süd was a German radio station that operated in the post-World War II era, primarily serving the French occupation zone in southwestern Germany. It was established in 1946 and was based in Baden-Baden. The station was initially controlled by French authorities and focused on providing news, cultural programming, and entertainment. In 1949, it was reorganized and became part of Südwestfunk (SWF), which later merged into Südwestrundfunk (SWR). Radio Süd played a significant role in rebuilding media infrastructure in Germany after the war.
