The Mighty Playlist
The Mighty 1090 (XEPRS-AM) was a popular English-language AM sports radio station based in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, that primarily served the San Diego, California, market. Operating at 50,000 watts on 1090 kHz, it became known for broadcasting sports content, including coverage of the San Diego Padres, and hosting nationally recognized sports talk shows. The station ceased operations in April 2019 due to financial disputes between its operators and the transmitter owner in Mexico. Some of its former hosts transitioned to digital platforms following its closure.
