Originally established by Belgian entrepreneur Sylvain Tack, it primarily targeted audiences in Belgium and the Netherlands, broadcasting in Dutch. The station operated from the ship *MV Mi Amigo*, which was anchored in international waters to avoid broadcasting regulations. It became known for its pop music programming and its affiliation with the pirate radio movement. Financial and legal challenges eventually forced the station to cease operations in 1978.
