WOWO is a commercial AM radio station in Fort Wayne, Indiana, broadcasting on 1190 kHz with a news/talk format. Established in 1925, WOWO is one of the oldest radio stations in the United States and was once a clear-channel station, allowing its signal to reach a wide area at night. The station is currently owned by Federated Media and also simulcasts on an FM translator at 107.5 MHz (WOWO-FM). WOWO gained historical significance for its long-running role in broadcasting agricultural news and community programming. It was previously affiliated with NBC and Mutual networks before transitioning to its current format.
