The station adopted the "Movin'" branding in May 2006, playing a mix of rhythmic pop, dance, and R&B hits primarily targeting adult listeners. It was part of the nationwide "Movin'" format trend that emerged in the mid-2000s. In December 2010, the station transitioned to a contemporary hit radio (CHR) format and rebranded as "Hot 99.3." Movin 99.3 is no longer in operation under that name or format.
