WRVS-FM is a non-commercial radio station licensed to Elizabeth City, North Carolina, and operated by Elizabeth City State University (ECSU). It broadcasts at 89.9 MHz on the FM band and primarily features an Urban Contemporary and Gospel format, along with news, public affairs, and educational programming. The station, which began operations in 1986, serves northeastern North Carolina and southeastern Virginia. WRVS-FM is also a training facility for ECSU students pursuing careers in broadcasting and media.
