Radio Oranje was a Dutch radio program broadcast by the BBC during World War II, from London, aimed at the occupied Netherlands. It aired 15-minute segments with news and messages from the Dutch government-in-exile between 1940 and 1945. Queen Wilhelmina, who had fled to Britain during the Nazi occupation, was a frequent speaker and became a symbol of resistance through the broadcasts. The program's goal was to boost morale and provide reliable information to the Dutch population under German occupation. It became an important source of hope and resistance for the Dutch people.
