Music Radio Playlist
Music Radio was a British radio station that broadcast on 247 metres (1214 kHz) medium wave from 1973 to 1974. It was part of a network of BBC Local Radio stations and was also known as "Radio 1 on MW." The station primarily aired contemporary music and pop hits, targeting a younger audience. Music Radio ceased to exist when the BBC restructured its medium-wave services, splitting the frequencies between Radio 1 and Radio 2.
