Alt 92.3 FM (WNYL) was a New York City-based alternative rock radio station that launched under the "Alt" branding on November 17, 2017. It was owned by Audacy, Inc. and served the New York metropolitan area as the first full-time alternative rock station in the market since 2012. The station played a mix of modern alternative music, featuring artists such as Twenty One Pilots, Billie Eilish, and The Killers. In October 2022, Audacy announced that the station had transitioned to simulcasting WCBS (Newsradio 880 AM), effectively ending its alternative rock programming.
