ERA Radio was a government-operated radio network in Mexico, formally known as **Radiodifusoras de la Secretaría de Educación Pública (SEP)**. It was established in the 1940s as part of efforts by the Mexican Ministry of Public Education to promote cultural and educational programming. The network primarily focused on broadcasting content related to education, arts, and cultural heritage. ERA Radio ceased operations in 1983, and its functions were absorbed by the Instituto Mexicano de la Radio (IMER), which continues to operate public radio stations in Mexico.
