The Loop 97.9 (WLUP-FM) è stata una leggendaria stazione radio rock con sede a Chicago, Illinois, attiva dal 1977 al 2018. Nota per il suo formato rock classico, ha svolto un ruolo significativo nella cultura musicale e radiofonica di Chicago, ospitando DJ popolari come Steve Dahl e Garry Meier. La stazione è diventata famosa per eventi come la famigerata "Disco Demolition Night" del 1979, organizzata da Dahl.
